Supporting the local community
In a world outside of investments or pension planning, we are passionate about supporting communities and local charities to help make a difference. We are delighted to contribute every month to the fundraising efforts of the Teddy Bear Run. The Teddy Bear Run is a group run by volunteers who take part in various fundraising efforts, working with children's charities across the region. Combining our passion for motorsport and community, we join like minded people to help raise funds for children with life limiting illnesses.
Breward Financial Planning joined the Winter Run organised by The Teddy Bear Run in December 2023.
Back in December 2023, the team from Breward Financial Planning and fellow car enthusiasts created an event which made Christmas the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER for some children and their families in the area. Craig Breward continues to comment: "Raising money for the brilliant Children's Respite Trust and in collaboration with The Teddy Bear Run, we drove in convoy from Goodwood Motor Circuit to The South of England Showground where we were greeted by many children with life-limiting conditions and their families."
"After the excitement of seeing 142 cars arrive and hearing the roar of the various supercars, we surprised the families with a Winter Wonderland. A space transformed by the team from The Teddy Bear Run into a magical Christmas experience complete with Santa himself!"
"Yes it was wet and cold, yes it was a long day and yes, I could have done without the 5am alarm on a Sunday (I am not a morning person!) BUT this little effort goes a VERY long way for children and their families who are not fortunate enough to enjoy the usual festivities available to most of us. It was a heartwarming experience and great to be able to give back and make a difference."
